Our Mission
Tidera Health exists to help patients discover and understand clinical trial opportunities that might otherwise be invisible to them. We believe every patient deserves to know what options exist — including trials — without needing specialist connections or hours of research.
Our goal is simple: make the clinical trial discovery process less opaque, more accessible, and genuinely useful for people navigating serious health conditions.
Why We Built This
The core problem is a navigation problem. Over 400,000 clinical trials have been registered on ClinicalTrials.gov. Tens of thousands are recruiting right now. Yet most patients — even those with serious, treatment-resistant conditions — never know a relevant trial exists near them.
The existing tools are built for researchers, not patients. The official registry is accurate but difficult to navigate. The eligibility criteria read like legal documents. The distance filters are clunky. The fit scoring doesn’t exist.
We built Tidera Health to fill that gap — a patient-first interface on top of the same authoritative data, with AI to bridge the language barrier between trial documentation and plain English.

How we stay independent — and how we keep the lights on
Tidera is patient-funded, not pharma-funded. We don't take per-patient fees and we don't sell patient data. Sponsors can purchase featured placement — the same way a search engine sells ads — but trial results are ranked by fit, not by who paid. Every trial on Tidera is shown to patients regardless of whether the sponsor has a paid placement.
The Team
Tidera Health is built by a small team passionate about patient access and health information equity. We are independent: not owned by any pharmaceutical company, not paid per enrolled patient, not incentivized by enrollment volume. Sponsors who work with us do so on clearly disclosed, fair-market terms — and that relationship never changes what patients see in their results.
We believe the best technology in this space is transparent technology. That means explaining our ranking methodology publicly, publishing clear limitations, and never pretending AI explanations are medical determinations.

Braden
Founder
Braden is a biology student who built Tidera Health while completing his undergraduate degree. He created Tidera after seeing how hard it was for patients — and their families — to find clinical trials that were actually relevant to their situation. Tidera ships in two months what typically takes a funded team a year: a live, AI-powered trial finder that explains eligibility in plain English, stores no patient data, and charges sponsors for placement, not patients for access.
